Ben Michel is the founder of Ridgeview Property Group. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm’s investment strategy, including the acquisition of new investment opportunities and portfolio management.

Prior to forming Ridgeview, Ben spent 11 years with Michel Commercial Real Estate as a Senior Associate, with a primary focus on multifamily brokerage. Michel Commercial was founded by Ben’s father, Steve Michel, and the company has brokered over $2B in multifamily sales since its inception in 1987. Ben was responsible for pursuing new brokerage opportunities, investment return and valuation analysis, contract negotiations, due diligence coordination, and market analysis. He specialized in evaluating and brokering complex deals including rent-restricted, value-add, and distressed assets.

 

Ben attended the University of St. Thomas and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Sciences in Entrepreneurship. He enjoys running, travel, and all things outdoors. Ben resides with his family in St. Louis Park, MN.
